Investment Manager

hep North America is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Investment Manager. In this role you will be responsible for the full scope of the investment process, execution, initial analysis, due diligence, transaction agreements, and negotiation.

• Negotiation of key project contracts including EPC, O&M, and PPA.
• Involvement in project finance negotiations with lenders leading to financial close.
• Management of commercial, financial and tax due diligence.
• Structuring processes leading to optimized profitability of the investment opportunity based on financial modelling outcomes.
• Prepares decision-making information and analysis packages for Investment Committees and Supervisory Board.
• Financial modeling, profitability analysis of renewable (solar PV) energy and energy efficiency projects.
• Due diligence process (technical, legal, financial, tax)
• Market research.

• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work well with little supervision.
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing financial reporting and analysis.
• Project finance, tax equity and operations experience preferred.
• Expertise with Excel spreadsheet/modeling.
• Written & oral communication and presentation skills using PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with power & energy infrastructure industries, operations & maintenance agreements, debt & equity project financing, and legal documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or engineering.
• Prior investment experience with a focus on infrastructure organizations (e.g., alternative energy, utilities, large public or private projects).
• Experience gained in an industry role, investment banking, private equity, or consulting.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
