Financial Operations Manager

The Financial Operations Manager will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our financial operations. The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic guidance to senior leadership. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial health and success of our organization. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including business planning, project portfolio controlling, construction project controlling, and cost allocations. 
  • Streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Oversee cash planning and forecasting. 
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. 
  • Provide timely and insightful financial reports to senior management. 
  • Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards. 
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. 
  • Mitigate financial risks through proactive measures. 
  • Set clear objectives and provide guidance to team members. 
  • Contribute to the development of financial strategies, financial analysis, and long-term financial planning. 
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial goals with overall business objectives. 
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, financial institutions, and auditors. 
  • Serve as a point of contact for financial inquiries from stakeholders. 

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • 5-7 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record of success. 
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements. 
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (ERP systems, Excel). 
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.   
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to interact effectively with both management and staff. 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • SAP experience preferred. 
  • Construction Accounting and familiarity with construction payment applications experience preferred but not required. 

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, or a related field; MBA preferred. 

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic). 

Little to no travel will be required.
