We believe there can never be enough future makers. Therefore, we are looking for a Director Project Development (m/w/d) in Italy.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the development of solar PV projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the company's project pipeline
- Assess and develop Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) business opportunities in alignment with company goals
- Build and manage a high-performing local team, providing guidance and support to achieve project objectives
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with stakeholders across the renewable energy sector
- Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies to inform business strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the energy sector, with a focus on renewable energy project development
- At least 5 years of experience in the italian renewable energy market, with a strong understanding of local regulations and market dynamics
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing solar PV projects from conception to commissioning
- Ability to think holistically and act entrepreneurially
- Demonstrated experience in business development, with a talent for identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Driver's license and willingness to travel are essential
- You have a very good command of Italian and English
